WINE TASTING HOSTED BY DOMINIC BUCKWELL, DIP WSET
FRIDAY 7 JUNE 2024 - 6.00 - 8.00pm, Ripe Village Hall
We are thrilled to welcome you to an interesting evening as we sample English wines with Dominic Buckwell, sommelier, Sussex Arts magazine wine correspondent, legal advisor and former Director of Wine GB, and co-owner of the world's smallest registered vineyard (Shortgate, The Broyle).
"Dominic is the personification of the contemporary and emerging wine movement. A passionate authority who is more about the honest appreciation of great wine, as opposed to the gratuitous intellectualisation of label snobbery." Inglis Hall
Why not invite a table of friends together, or feel free to come along and join the party as we learn about wines from our region here in the south-east of England, whilst fundraising for the churches Fabric Fund.
A raffle will be held on the evening, so be sure to bring some cash for tickets.
£30 per person - includes four English wines and some nibbles to feast on, too.
To reserve your place, please contact Helen at administrator@lrcchurches.co.uk by midday on Thursday 6 June 2024.
